Ece Kaşıkcı is the General Manager of Bristol Myers Squibb Turkey since April 2017 with more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Since May 2021, Ece is also responsible for BMS Russia and assuming the position of Interim General Manager Russia. Prior to joining BMS, Kaşıkcı held several positions in the industry such as Senior Financial Analyst at Abbott Laboratories and Chief Financial Officer and Interim General Manager at Gilead. Before being appointed as General Manager of Turkey, Kaşıkcı was a Finance Director at BMS from 2014 to 2017. Ece was subsequently appointed as the General Manager in 2017 and is currently the CEETII (Central Eastern Europe, Turkey, Israel & India) BNOW Leader. The B-NOW platform is a women's leader platform where BMS continues its efforts to help women reach their true potential by emphasizing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Ece Kaşıkcı is a mentor in the Change Leaders Association’s Sparks program, which empowers women employees and whose purpose directly aligns with the mission of the B-NOW platform. This program aims to prepare young women to become active, responsible, and productive individuals in their society. As a strong women leader and a role model, Ece Kaşıkcı has taken a strong approach to responsibility, teamwork, diversity, inclusion, gender equality and interdepartmental cooperation and has played a key role in enhancing the commercial success of BMS Turkey.
She is currently a board member at Research-Based Pharma Association (AIFD) and as well as a member of the American Business Forum (AmCham Turkey), Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD), and also a member and mentee of the Women on Board Association (YKKD).
Kaşıkcı received her bachelor’s degree from Boğaziçi University in Economics and participated in a LEAD program at Columbia Business School. Ece is married and has two children.
