40 employees and their families from Dow Turkey volunteered for the International Coastal Cleanup on September 15th in Istanbul, following CEO Jim Fitterling’s announcement and call to mobilize against the waste issue in seas and oceans.
Dow Turkey team collected over 100 pounds of trash including mostly plastic bottles and caps, plastic bags, food packages and cigarette stubs. The participants worked with a team sprit among themselves as well as with their families and participants among other groups to showcase Dow awareness and volunteerism.
