Honeywell Helps Teachers Reach for the Stars

Eight teachers from Turkey have been selected to join more than 200 others from around the world on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to a space camp in the US, with the support of Honeywell and the US Space & Rocket Center (USSRC). Through hands-on practical exercises and 45 hours of classroom and laboratory-based sessions, teachers have the chance to identify new, exciting ways to teach STEM subjects.

Orhan Genis, President, Turkey and Central Asia, Honeywell said: "Since 2013 we have sent 38 teachers from Turkey to HESA, and they have been able to return with a whole host of ideas and approaches to creating new levels of passion and excitement for STEM among their students."
