Turkish Student at Space Camp

Honeywell has sent a student from Turkey to space camp, at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, as part of its Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy program. The Academy is a unique scholarship program created by Honeywell, in partnership with the USSRC, that provides opportunities for children of Honeywell employees from all over the world to attend space camp to learn about space, aeronautics and engineering.

Selin Turhan, a high school student from Istanbul, Turkey participated in this year’s program, which Honeywell created to encourage young people to explore careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
