Miyamoto International has won the Global Best Projects 2019 Award of the Engineering News-Record (ENR). Gaddi Baithak UNESCO-site palace in Nepal has significantly damaged in the 2015 earthquake (M7.8). Miyamoto designed the repair and strengthening project of Gaddi Baithak that is one of the country’s heritage.
Miyamoto has won “Global Best Projects” awards in its category four other times, but this is the first time the firm has won the overall award which includes the 2019 Project of the Year and Best Renovation/Restoration. Please click for detailed information and the video.
