On October 4, Philip Morris/Sabancı hosted AmCham “Coffee Talks” where the company provided information on digital transformation and start-up selection process. The company supports start-up ecosystem in Turkey by working with start-ups pioneering innovation. Noting PMEP [a "private equity firm" founded by PMI for supporting start-ups] had a budget of $150 mln, MD Filiz Yavuz Diren said contributing to the development of the start-up ecosystem is key in their strategy and added start-ups will help our country advance in global competition.
